Transfer of Station - 20 April 1943

RAF Molesworth became the property of the USAAF on 20 April 1943. Squadron leader O'Brien of the RAF turned the base over to LtCol George L. Robinson, Group Executive Officer. The ceremony was climaxed with the raising of the American Flag in front of Station Headquarters.
