Crewmen notes:
( *) Completion of 30 mission combat tours: Fontana, Perry & Weems 16 February
1945: Duros on 11 November 1944, Durfee on 1 January 1945; King on 11
March 1945; Price on 29 December 1944
- Capt Bernard C. Fontana (P) - Made a lead Crew Pilot after his 11th
mission. Went on to complete 19 missions as a Lead Crew Pilot.
- 1Lt Richard H. Cambron (C) - Upgraded from CoPilot to Pilot on 27
November. KIA 21 January 1945 flying as CoPilot with the R.B. Duffield Crew (9
KIA 1 POW) mission #305 to Aschaffenburg, Germany. Buried in Lorraine
American Cemetery near Moselle, France.
- F/O Leon Nurock (N) - Refused to fly after his 12th mission (#214 29 July
1944) stating that he had had enough of combat.
- Cpl Dwight A. Woodruff (WG) - Removed from crew when crew size was changed
from 10 to 9 men. Flew no combat missions with the 303rd BG(H).
