INCIDENT: 25 June 44 mission # 191 to Toulouse/Francazal, France in B-17G #42-38154 (No name) 358BS (VK-E). Forced to bail out over Minehead, England when they ran out of fuel. The B-17 was headed for the ocean when the Pilot bailed out. All landed safely with no injuries. Substitute crewmen: S/Sgt E.L. Barteau (Tog) for Bartholomy (B); 2Lt J.P. O'Connor for Zarelli; 2Lt C.F. Vaughn (CP) for Byrnes. Erickson (WG) was not on mission.
